The assumed Cenomanian source rock would be in the main oil window west of the Kangâmiut Ridge, and in the early oil window east of the ridge. Any oils source rock of Maastrichtian–Paleocene age equivalent to the one that has generated Marraat oil found on Nuussuaq (Bojesen-Kofoed et al. 1999) would be near the Paleocene/Kangeq boundary, which would mean that it was in the early oil‘ to perhaps just in the main oil‘ window on this profile.
